Dice en inglés: ¡This is it! ¡This is the answer!

A1 ARENASTE 1H AdENTRAS VENTARAS, 14B AcENTOS ALANcES ALEASEN ALENTAS ALEONAS ALFASEN ALIASEN ALUNASE ANEOTAS ANFETAS ASENTIA ATENEOS ATENUAS AUSENTO, A1 ORIENTAS, 14A ESTOFAN ESTOVAN, F9 LATONES LAVASEN LAXASEN TAXONES, 15G TEXANAS.

2J (F)E, 10N (V)I (X)I, B1 (F)A (L)A (T)A (O)A (V)A, B6 (F)U (T)U, 7A (L)UNA, B11 PRO(E)L, 3M N(A) N(E) N(I) N(O), N13 AH(E) AH(I), 11K (A)S (O)S, O6 QUESITO(s), O1 S(U), E1 (X)OLA

#### FIN ####

THE CJRP SCRABBLE CHALLENGE

Solution valid with Lexicons FISE 1 and 2

FIRST PLAY BY “A”

Only one play ensures for A the win: exchanging the blank. It’s deduced by elimination.

B can form on his rack the words EFLUVIO, playable as bingo in F9, in 15H, and in 11E pluralized as EFLUVIOS, and FLEXIVO, which does not fit on the board.

With one of “the efluvios” (effluviums) B wins the game after any move by A that forms valid words, including all the triple-triples in A1 and 1H (finishing in A15 there are none), but these:

G5 AMORTAJASEN, which blocks all three effluviums, but loses to 15A FLEXION and H11 EXILO if A takes the U, which may form 11G jU, 13G SU, 13G SIU and 15F UNO, but does not score enough. 15A FLUXION does not win if A takes the E as A has B11 PROEL.

K5 AcICATEASeN, which blocks the vertical effluviums and beats the horizontal one (with the blank as the other E ties) but loses to 15D EFLUXION.

ApANTLE, ApASTLE, iNSTALE, and SANAbLE at 12G, which block all three effluviums, but lose among other ways to a fourth EFLUVIO and FLEXIVO at 15G due to M12 ECUO.

In addition, the U does not fit on the board initially, so many bingoes that A can form, including all the existing triple-triples (which only create positions for the U in 5B and O1 with SU), lose when the U is blocked and B comes back with moves seen later.

G5 AMORTAjASEN prevents the blocking of the U as said above, as do K5 AcICATEASeN (or AcICATeASEN) since, although B blocks 11J UES and 15J UN with J12 VIL, A has 12I UVAL.

If A exchanges any letter (A-E-N-S-T) and takes the X, he can form on his next turn EXAlTAN, EXiSTAN, eXTENSA and EXTeNSA (not fitting on the board), and as bingoes ANEXAiS in 14B and 15G, ANeXASE and ANEXASe in 14B and 15H, EXAcTAS, EXAlTAS, eXENTAS and EXeNTAS in 15G, EXTASiA in 15I, lAXANTE and lAXASTE in 1C and F9, lAXASEN on 1C, F9 and 15I, pATAXES (Lexicon FISE 2) In 1C, F9 and 15G, SEXAbAN, SEXArAN, SEXTAvA and SEXTiNA on 14B, TAXoNES in F9 and 15G, TEXANAS (blank not being X) and TEXANoS in 1C and 15G, ANeXASES, ANEXASeS, EXTASiAS, eXTENSAS and EXTeNSAS in 11E, and eXENTARA and EXeNTARA in 1G.

B can anticipate all these bingoes (and any play using one to six tiles) with 15H EFLUVIO, always winning except for 1C TEXANOS and TEXANAS with the blank as N, S or the second A, plays to which he ties, so A does not win by exchanging letters.

If A passes, B can respond by passing as well, and if this pair of moves is repeated by accumulating four passes, the game ends in a draw.

Also, A cannot win by passing only once and, after B’s pass, playing the same move that he was going to play initially, as these two passes can make all twelve turns of passes and exchanges run out because, as will be seen during this text, A may need up to ten (!) turns of exchanges, five per player, before he can form words.

Therefore, the only move that ensures A’s victory is, by elimination, exchanging the blank.

WHEN DURING THE REST OF THE GAME “B” FORMS WORDS OR PASSES

When A exchanges the blank or other tiles in successive turns, B always loses immediately if he forms any word or if he passes, so the main difficulty comes when B exchanges, the first time taking the blank for himself, and then other tiles that A exchanges.

We will first see how A wins when B forms words or passes, and then continue with A’s second and successive plays. A only plays bingoes, or single tiles, throughout the game.

When B forms words, A has only one tile or seven, in the latter case A always has at least one bingo, which we will call the main one, on the left side of the board almost always, forming a triple-triple in A1 or 1H or a word with X in 1C, and at least one bingo that we will call alternative, almost always on the right side of the board, in numerous positions (double-double in 11E, column 14 with PRO for PROA or PROS, column 15 with CU and AH for CUI or CUS and AHE or AHO, row 9 with GOL for GOLA or GOLF, etc. ). A well-chosen main bingo and an alternative bingo cannot be blocked by B at the same time.

There are three main bingo sets, depending on the six tiles A has left on the rack after switching or playing a single tile, and they are as follows. Throughout the game, A may have to exchange other tiles, besides the already exchanged blank, A, E, L, T, U or X.

When A has AENST-A, after having exchanged the blank, E, U, X or played a tile:

In 1C TEXANAS with X, and in A1 and 1H depending on the position of R, with E ARENASTE, ATESAREN and SAETAREN and (K5 AcICATEASEN), with F NAFTERAS, with I ARETINAS, (ATINARES), SANTERIA, SENTARIA and TENSARIA, with L (ALASTREN), LASTAREN and SALTAREN, with O ORETANAS, (ANOTARES), ATANORES, ATESARON, ATESORAN and SAETARON, with U (ATUNERAS) and ATUSAREN, with V (TRASVEAN) and VENTARAS, and with the blank many, of which G5 AMORTAjASEN is proposed in the diagram.

When A has AENST-O, after having previously exchanged A, L or also U or played a tile:

In 1C TEXANOS with X, and in A1 and 1H depending on the position of R, with E (ATESOREN) and NESTOREA, with F NAFTEROS, with I ARSENITO (Lexicon FISE 1), ORIENTAS and ORINASTE and (14B ASIENTO), with L SOLTAREN, with U ATUNEROS, with  V VENTORAS, with A the same as in the previous paragraph with O, and with the blank many, 1H AdENTROS given in the diagram.

When A has AAENS-L, after having exchanged T or played a tile:

In 1C LAXASEN with X, and in A1 and 1H depending on the position of R, with E ASELAREN, with F FRANELAS, (FALSAREN) and FLANERAS, with I (AISLAREN), ALISAREN, ASILAREN and NIELARAS, with O (ANOLARES), ASELARON, and ASOLAREN, with U (ALUNARES), ALUNARSE and ANULARES, with V (SALVAREN) and VALSAREN, and with the blank many, such as 1H AiSLAREN.

There are many alternative bingoes and the diagram suggests these, depending on A’s rack:

A1 ARENASTE 1H AdENTRAS VENTARAS, 14B AcENTOS ALANcES ALEASEN ALENTAS ALEONAS ALFASEN ALIASEN ALUNASE ANEOTAS ANFETAS ASENTIA ATENEOS ATENUAS AUSENTO, A1 ORIENTAS, 14A ESTOFAN ESTOVAN, F9 LATONES LAVASEN LAXASEN TAXONES, 15G TEXANAS.

Therefore, if B forms any word when A has seven tiles, A answers with a main bingo (in parentheses those in the diagram) and, if this is blocked, with an alternative bingo, always according to the rack had, finishing the game since the bag is empty and A wins. When A has only one tile in the rack, A plays it as indicated in the following section.

Three special cases must be taken into account for the whole game when choosing the main bingo, for occasions when B passes or even exchanges as will be seen later. These three cases are as follows.

If A can play as a main bingo ATINARES, he will play it instead of playing ARETINAS, SANTERIA, SENTARIA or TENSARIA, to avoid a blocked and U with comeback favourable to B, U which could come after B’s exchange or B’s pass if A has just exchanged U. With ATINARES, A has O1 SU, a move that, if B blocks it, its subsequent comeback will be unfavourable to B and A will win, even if B tries a comeback with 1G LATINARES.

If A can play TRASVEAN as main bingo, A will play it instead of VENTARAS, to avoid a possible winning FRIsUELO for B in A1.

If A can play FALSAREN or FLANERAS as main bingo, A will play either of these instead of FRANELAS, to avoid a possible winning EXUToRIO or EXUTORIo for B in 1H.

Having dealt with the cases where B forms words, we move on to those where B passes.

If B passes at some point in the game, if A has only one tile left on the rack, A ends the game as indicated in the following section, and if he has seven left, as follows. All this is the same indicated in the diagram in the section where B passes.

If the U is in the bag and B has both the V and the X, A would run the risk of having the U blocked if he played a bingo, but at the same time B has no bingo, so A plays the last tile he took from the bag in any place which does not interfere with the main and alternate bingoes of the U A will be able to form, at least six bingoes in total according to the three main bingo sets, as if the U is in the bag it is because A has exchanged it and therefore A has seven tiles, and then A ends the game by playing the main bingo, or the alternate one if the main bingo has been blocked by B.

In the other case, that is, if the U is not in the bag or if it is but B does not have the V or the X at the same time, then A does not have to worry about the U if it is not in the bag or, if the U is in the bag, A could not do the above paragraph of playing a tile because B could win with a bingo, but, by coincidence, if A plays his main bingo, which A  will, A  does not lose even if his U is blocked or to another bingo by B, provided that the aforementioned cases of ATINARES, TRASVEAN, FALSAREN and FLANERAS are dealt with. Therefore, A will play his main bingo and then the last tile according to the following paragraph unless it is the U and it gets blocked, in which case B will not win by coming back, and A will win.

Seen how A can be play before formation of words by B or passes, it is now possible to move on to the second and successive plays by A, but first the section on plays of a tile is due.

PLAYS OF “A” OF ONE TILE

This list tells A how to play the last tile of a game and win, and how to play a tile to avoid getting stuck with a blockable and surmountable U. The moves are sufficient if, for the main and the alternative bingoes, the ones in the diagram are chosen, proposed above in brackets and as single ones respectively. In one case, A runs out of moves listed for T, but B cannot come back. More plays could be listed for the T, but this is not necessary. For the last tile of a game, the list is started from the beginning, and to avoid the U, from the end.

There are other cases in which A must make a specific move of a tile, cases that will be indicated when they correspond. The tile played in each case listed is in brackets, and matches the diagram. In the case that A has a blocked U and cannot play O1 SU, it will pass to the end of the game, and the same applies if the T plays run out, which is unnecessary, but the number of moves given is minimal. B can never block to A the T, only this list allows such blocking by listing less moves because B does not come back enough. For the blank only one word is given because it is not blockable.

2J (F)E, 10N (V)I (X)I, B1 (F)A (L)A (T)A (O)A (V)A, B6 (F)U (T)U, 7A (L)UNA, B11 PRO(E)L, 3M N(A) N(E) N(I) N(O), N13 AH(E) AH(I), 11K (A)S (O)S, O6 QUESITO(s), O1 S(U), E1 (X)OLA

SECOND PLAY BY “A”

We reach the moment when A takes a letter of EFILOUVX from the bag after exchanging the blank, and A has to know how to continue in each case if B exchanges, because if A forms words or passes it is all covered in the previous sections, but not only for now, but for the whole game.

Player B has two types of resources to prevent A’s moves. The first is high or moderate-score bingoes, and the second is to block the U to A and come back favourably.

Of the bingoes, it is sufficient to mention the three effluviums, which B can form if necessary using the blank, and the following three: A1 FRIsUELO, 15I FLEXIOn and 15I FLUXIOn. The others have no influence by counting the six bingoes listed.

These six bingoes limit A’s possibilities to the main bingoes of the first set listed above (AENST-A), namely 1C TEXANAS, K5 AcICATEASEN and the triple-triples.

Of these, the three letters (F, I and V) allow A to win by playing and then the remaining letter if possible, these being NAFTERAS, ATINARES and TRASVEAN in their corresponding places. ATINARES and TRASVEAN are two of the particular cases discussed above. After these plays, the game finishes as shown above too.

A cannot exchange F, I or V because B can return them in a loop, nor can he pass, either now or in the game because this would generate superfluous passes and exchanges or a win for B.

TEXANAS loses to FRIsUELO so it is necessary to exchange a tile, which will be X because if A keeps it A can run out of bingoes and B would have at least the effluviums with blanks, winning.

The triple-triples of the U lose to FLEXIOn, so there is only the possibility of exchanging one, which will be the U for the same reason, as if A gets the X and runs out of bingoes then B wins with the effluviums.

The triple-triples of the E lose to FLUXIOn and in addition the blocked U and the comeback favourable to B with plays that will be seen below, and in principle A would have to exchange the E for the same reason as for the X, the lack of bingoes for A and the winning effluviums for B, but it remains to be seen if E could win with AcICATEASEN.

The answer is no, because B can block 11J UES and 15J UN with J12 gIL mIL or sIL, which by replacing A J12 VIL at the beginning of the text do not allow plays analogous to 12I UVAL, and after blocking the U, B wins with 10N XI and either pair J1 OVE and 10C GOLF, or pair 1C FO and 2J VE. The pair F10 FO and 2J VE would not serve B as it allows both F9 UFO and J1 UVE, so A could play his U and win.

Therefore, A must exchange the E when he has it here, and B when he comes up against a blocked U must allow at most one move that allows U, and use this move as the last one when coming back.

In addition to losing A to the blocked U after all the triple-triples of the E, as mentioned above, he also loses to all the triple-triples of the I except of course ATINARES, and all the triple-triples of the O and L.

Plays B uses coming back are, among others, O1 SE SO, 10N XI, F10 FE FI FO, A8 VEDA VIDA, A9 IDA, 2J FE VE, O6 QUESITOs, C1 LECHE, 13K LOCA, 8F ERAD, N13 AHE AHI AHO, 10C GOLFO, etc.

Therefore, A must also exchange when A has the L or the O, but maybe A should exchange those letters or others, because before the X and the effluviums of B with blank, this time A would have in 1C LAXANTE, LAXASEN, LAXASTE and TEXANOS, unlike when A has E, F, I, U, V or X.

The answer to the case of the O is that, if A were to exchange the O, it could enter into inescapable loops, as for example if B were to pass the E, then the blank and then the O back, so A has to exchange the A.

In the case of twelve turn loops, B would win since it has the last turn and can dodge the X, if it has it by exchanging it, and if it does not have it by passing.

The same inescapable loop as the O and other similar ones could occur if A exchanges the L, so he has to exchange N, S or T, but we have to see which one or ones.

Why A does not enter an inescapable loop by exchanging E, U or X when it has those letters, will be seen later.

If A having the L exchanged the N or the S by choosing LAXASTE or LAXANTE and got the U, the only bingo A could count on in his next turn would be 1G ENLUTARA, and B, having A bingo or not, could play 2J FEnIX blocking ENLUTARA, and then finish the game with separate pairs of plays such as E9 OLIVEN and 15J ENVIO, at the exchange of N, and A1 ORIVES and 15I OVEIS at the exchange of S. Therefore, A has to exchange the T.

In short, of the eight plays that A can have for the second play, the plays of B for the formation of words and passes are already covered by the second and third sections, and before the exchanges, having A F, I or V plays NAFTERAS, ATINARES or TRASVEAN and ends, having E, U or X, exchanges respectively E, U or X, having O exchanges A, and having L exchanges T, having taken care of the eight letters.

We are not facing five situations of exchange, as we might think, but only three, because E, U and X together with the blank share the six letters AENST-A and are dealt with together, while having O and exchanging A we go to the six letters AENST-O, and having L and exchanging T we go to the six letters AAENS-L.

Each of these three six-letter rack tiles has its own set of main and alternative bingoes listed in the second section, so that in any case A will continue to be safe from B forming words or passing, needing to see only the exchanges.

We will see first the exchange of T having L and going to the AAENS-L bingo sets, then the exchange of A having O and going to the AENST-O bingo sets, and finally the exchanges of E, U, X and the already exchanged blank in the first turn, which together share the AENST-A bingo sets.

ENDING THE GAME AFTER EXCHANGING “A” T ON THE SECOND TURN AFTER RECEIVING L

A exchanges T after receiving L and B takes the blank, and we are in the case of the six letters of rack AAENS-L.

Almost everything is covered by sections two and three, and now we can see the functionality of having shown them at the beginning. For example, if with the T in the bag B plays one of the effluviums, instructions have already been given to play 1C LAXASEN, or its alternative F9 LAXASEN before blocking the main one, this alternative is also listed above, as whether B passes.

Before B exchanges and takes the T for himself, the main and alternative bingoes are played with the requeriment that FALSAREN or FLANERAS must be played instead of FRANELAS to avoid EXUToRIO or EXUTORIo in 1H, one of the three special situations listed above and, As B has no other play that is not covered by the procedure of the listed main and alternative bingoes, for example SALVAREN and VALSAREN in 1H have no alternative in A1 analogous to FRANELAS and therefore are going to avoid EXUToRIO and EXUTORIo because they go in 1H as well, it only remains to study the cases where B goes back against U or asks for exchange to A.

These cases are the main bingoes of the E, the I, the O and the blank, which are resolved by first playing the corresponding play of one tile, and then the corresponding main bingo or the alternative one if B blocks the main one, as B does not have bingoes that give him the victory before A plays an E, I, O or the blank. A might exchange only some tile taken, without necessity.

As B does not force any further exchange, the game ends with the instructions given, and there are only a few curious facts to be seen, such as that the unlisted alternative bingo 14B ASOLEAN does not win by the move of B 15A FLUX if A gets the I, or that 1C LAXASEN resists the comeback against U by only one point, on the moves 10N VI, 2J FE, K5 acICATE, A9 IDA and A8 OIDA.

ENDING THE GAME AFTER EXCHANGING “A” A ON THE SECOND TURN AFTER RECEIVING O

A exchanges A after receiving O and B taking the blank, and we are in the case of the six letters of the rack AENST-O.

Likewise, before plays and passes everything is already covered, as with the main bingo 1C TEXANOS before the effluviums before B takes A, and its alternative F9 TAXONES, and it is only necessary to see the cases of blocking of U and in which B causes more exchanges for A, which in this section there are, unlike in the previous one.

When B takes A, B has many bingoes, but they all use E, I and the blank at the same time, so when A has one of these three tiles, B has no bingoes, so a tile may be played to avoid U-blocking and then the final bingo.

Triple-triples of these three tiles do not resist the U comeback, and although plays as 11E ASIENTOS do, with E, I and blank A would play these tiles first. The bingo 14B ATENEOS does not win by the above-mentioned 15A FLUX of B if A takes the I. As a curiosity, there are in G5 AMOROSIENTA and AMOROSiENTA, which lose to 15A FLEXIVA, FLEXiVA, and AMORgONASTE (Lexicon FISE 1) which wins, but like so many others, they are then irrelevant.

NAFTEROS, TEXANOS and VENTORAS win to the comeback against U and the respective bingoes that B can form, and before the blockings of these mains are the alternatives, so that seen six cases, only L and U remain. Exchanging other tiles having these six does not work.

SOLTAREN, the only main bingo of the L, loses to the comeback of the U, and B could opt for F9 EFUsIVA and 11E EFUsIVAS which, while A could block them with F9 LATONES allowing the U to be played then, B could answer with 15C EFUSIVAs, with B winning the game, so A has to exchange the L, because no other exchange works, nor in the next paragraph about the U.

Likewise, ATUNEROS, the main bingo of the U, loses to 11E EXFoLIAS, which cannot be blocked in any way that would allow A to win later, so A has to exchange the U.

Therefore, all cases of what A receives after B exchanging and taken the A are covered, with the exchanges of L and U to be seen.

A exchanges L or U to get another of the six tiles and proceed to win, but can get U or L again respectively, and after a second exchange enter a loop by receiving the exchanged A again.

A can avoid this loop because if he first exchanges U and gets L, as it is only necessary to consider for B to take the U because passes and words are already covered, A can play SOLTAREN without risk of receiving the U because A knows that B has just taken it, and wins the game with the remaining tile. If A had exchanged the L and taken the A, he would not have avoided the loop.

Otherwise, if L exchanges first and gets the U, he does have to exchange the U and can get the A, but the same thing happens. As A having the A knows that B has the U because he has just taken it, he can play either of the main bingoes of the AENST-O sets for the A or of AENST-A for the O, as at that moment he has both sets of six letters at the same time.

With this, A wins the game, noting that there may have been situations of having to play a letter before B passes with or without the U in the bag, as indicated in the second section of the second paragraph, of the passes.

ENDING THE GAME AFTER EXCHANGING “A” E U OR X ON THE SECOND TURN AFTER RECEIVING THEM

First of all, the exchanged letters are E, U or X, not O, which appears in the title in capital letters as a conjunction OR and may look like a tile (OR is English for Spanish O, hence the translation issue).

E, U, X and the blank share the group of six AENST-A rack letters. It is therefore appropriate to deal with these four tiles as a whole, rather than in independent sequences that would be long, intermingled and lacking in functionality.

After exchanging A E, U or X in the second turn, all the word formation and pass moves of B are covered, so only the exchanges and the comeback against U remain, taking into account the cases here of playing ATINARES and not the other triple-triples, and TRASVEAN and not VENTARAS.

B has two options in relation to the exchanges. Either try to give A the tiles E, U, X and the blank constantly forming loops, and winning B on the last turn by exchanging X if he has it or passing B if he doesn’t, or at some point give A any of the other five tiles, F, I, L, O or V.

We will start by dealing with the first case, that of the loop in which A only receives E, U, X and the blank.

We will see how A can interrupt the loop before B gets the twelfth and final turn.

This requires first a small mathematical demonstration, very understandable by the majority of people.

Let’s suppose that A has a sequence of several E, U, X tiles and the blank, for example, four tiles forming the sequence 1234.

Tile number 1 may represent the blank, with which A initially started, although if the sequence is intermediate and not from the beginning, tile number 1 may be another of the four tiles.

However, for the rest of the tiles there are restrictions in which they can be, for two reasons.

The first one, that a tile cannot be the same as the next one, because if A exchanges one and takes another one, A does not have the same one.

The second, that a tile cannot be the same as the one in two positions, the next one to the next, because if A exchanges a tile 1 and takes a 2, and 1 takes B leaving the 3 in the bag, and A takes the 3, the 3 cannot be the same as the 1 because 1 has B in its rack having just taken it.

It follows that if two tiles in a sequence are the same, there are at least two different tiles between them.

So, in the example of 1 being the blank, only 4 could be the blank.

Now, what we want to show is that B cannot prevent from happening that at the same time A has either E or the blank, and B has either U or X. Always in relation to exchanges, since passes are already covered.

E and blank tiles for A, U or X tiles for B, one of each at a time in A and in B, A E or blank, B U or X.

The first thing we have to observe, is that in the mentioned sequence 1234, if A has one that has come out of the bag, B has the previous one, that has just taken it because A had left it. For example, if A has 4, B has 3.

From then on, A starts with the blank, but we can be sure that at some point he will have the U or the X.

This is because, even if A obtained the E first and formed the blank-E sequence, as we have seen that between two times the same tile there must be two different ones, the next one to blank-E could not be either blank or E, and would have to be U or X.

Then, once A has the U or X, we can assure the analogous, that in a moment it will have the blank or the E.

This is because, even if A had the U or the X and the other one came out, forming the U-X or X-U sequence, the next one in the sequence could no longer be either the U or the X because of the two of difference, so it would have to be the blank or the E.

So, as from starting with blank and maybe E, it is guaranteed to have U or X, and from U or X it is guaranteed to have blank or E, the total sequence will include going from U or X to blank or E, the partial sequences X-blank, X-E U-blank or U-E.

As if A has a tile from the sequence, B has the previous one, A will have sometime blank or E, and B X or U, even if B passes at the end, B will have X or U according to the one in the bag. As we wanted to demonstrate.

So, for each of these situations, A has an exit from the loop:

If A has a blank and B has X, B has neither the effluviums because B has the X, nor FRIsUELO because B has the X and A the blank, nor FLEXIOn or FLUXIOn because A has the blank, nor other bingoes with the X because he also needs the blank.

In this case, unlike in the other three, A has a very open exit, partly because FLEXIVO does not fit on the board, and according to the opening sections he can play O6 QUESITOs, for example, although he can also play the blank anywhere that does not prevent the main and alternative bingoes that would follow. Some bingoes will also work for A, and A can even exchange any other letter except E. This is what the instructions mean when they say that there is only one solution but it can have some variants, this time when the first exit is open, and another time that we will see later.

The other three exits have only one possible play for A, as we will see.

If A has E and B has X, B does not have the effluviums having the X, B does not have FRIsUELO having the X and A the E, B does not have FLEXIOn because A has the E. In short, B does not have any bingo of the many that could be had, such as those of the verb EXFOLIAR, having B the X and A the E. The only bingo that B can have is FLUXIOn, and A cannot block it with a bingo because B could come back against U if he had left it in the bag instead of preparing FLUXIOn, but A prevents FLUXIOn with N13 AHE, a case of playing a single letter which is named separately, and then winning with an AENST-A main or alternate bingo. The only one that AHE would prevent is the 15G TEXANAS alternative if B blocked the 1C TEXANAS main, but precisely B has X.

If A has the blank and B has U, B can have the effluviums only, as at the beginning, but now A knows that U is held by B, so he can play G5 AMORTAjASEN and neither 15A FLEXION nor H11 EXILO win against A who cannot have U, and the remaining letter would be played normally.

Finally, if A has E and B has U, B can have the effluviums with blank and FLUXIOn, all of which are won by K5 AcICATEASEN, who no longer loses to 15D eFLUXION because the E and the blank have been interchanged, nor to the closing of the U positions because the U is held by B.

The four exits from the loop are sufficient, necessary and single. Sufficiency has already been seen, necessity is seen by deleting one and forming an infinite loop, and singleness is seen by checking any of the other cases of A and B having E, U, X, blank tiles, with no exit.

However, when A has the E or U and B has the X, being unabled to exchange another letter distinct from the E or U because of the X no longer has that reason, so one could think of exchanging an A, the letter that gives triple-triples as VENTERAS and VENTURAS in 1H, this option prevented by threat from B of A1 FRIVOLAs and 11E eXFOLIAS if A gets the U, and by threats from A1 FRAILErO FRIOLErA and 11E ExFOLIAS and A1 FRAILUcO (Lexicon FISE 1) and F9 AFLUIdO.

Finally, if B breaks the loop of E, U, X, wild with F, I, L, O, or V, A wins as usual with F, I, V, L, three AENST-A bingoes or exchange of T, respectively (although here is the second variant named above in which A may play some other play as F7 BALASTEN and U in 11F SU, 12F TU, 13D UsE UnE, 14E UN, UNa UNE, UNI, UNO).

And if B breaks it with the O, A exchanges A only if the O comes after the blank or E, in the latter case there are the ten-turn exchanges (!), but exchanging A if O comes after U or X could make A run out of turns, so after U A plays AENST-A bingoes because B has U, and after X A plays 11K OS AS or 12K AL, avoiding 12F FLUXIblE, and then AENST-A or AENST-O bingoes.
